【秋冬】Winter Mohairの魅力。
いつも麻布テーラー虎ノ門のブログをご覧の皆さん暑い日が続きますが、麻布では秋冬の立ち上がりが始まっております。今回はその中でも日本の気候に合わせたお勧めの生地の紹介です。
1903年にイタリアのビエラで創業したフラテッリ・タリア・ディ・デルフィノ。ロロ・ピアーナやクロス エルメネジルド ゼニアと並ぶ世界三大ミル（毛織物工場）のひとつとして知られております。 一貫してスーパー120’S以上の高級ウールしか使わず、カシミアやシルクなどのラグジュアリーな素材使いで有名です。モヘア混生地についても得意としてます。
今回は麻布テーラーの為にモヘア混の生地を開発して頂きました。ウール72%＋モヘア28%の平織り生地をベースに秋冬用として綾織りのツイル生地にアレンジ！目付は290ｇ/mと軽めのため、真夏以外着用できる“10マンス生地”となっています！
ノーブルで、程よく艶っぽい秋冬のスーツスタイル最高の選択。
モヘアのハリコシが楽しめる一方、イタリアらしい柔らかさを併せ持つのもこの生地の魅力に仕上がりました。グレンチェック柄の2色を用意しましたが、オーバーダイで仕上げたことで、かたや赤みがかったブラウン、もう一方は緑がかったネイビーと、ともに最近のトレンドともマッチした、スモーキーでアンニュイな色味となっています。このあたりは色気ある生地作りに長けたフラテッリ・タリア・ディ・デルフィノならでは。

The Charm of Winter Mohair

Although the hot summer days continue, at Azabu Tailor we have already begun preparing for the autumn and winter season. Today, we would like to introduce a fabric particularly suited to the Japanese climate.
Fratelli Tallia di Delfino, founded in 1903 in Biella, Italy, is renowned as one of the world’s three great mills, alongside Loro Piana and Ermenegildo Zegna. The mill has consistently used only high-quality wool of Super 120s or higher and is famous for its luxurious use of cashmere, silk, and other fine fibres. It is also highly skilled in producing mohair-blend fabrics.
For Azabu Tailor, they have developed a special mohair-blend fabric. Based on a plain weave composed of 72% wool and 28% mohair, it has been adapted into a twill weave suitable for autumn and winter. With a weight of 290 g/m, it is relatively light, making it a “10-month fabric” that can be worn throughout the year, except in the peak of summer.
This fabric offers a noble, subtly lustrous finish—an excellent choice for autumn and winter suits. It combines the resilience and texture of mohair with the soft, supple feel characteristic of Italian craftsmanship. Two colours in a Glen check pattern are available. Thanks to overdyeing, one exhibits a reddish-brown hue, while the other has a greenish-blue tone—both smoky, slightly melancholic shades that align perfectly with recent trends. This sophisticated approach to colour is a hallmark of Fratelli Tallia di Delfino.
