世界が認める深喜毛織のカシミア。伝説の始まりはおよそ130年前、カシミヤは90余年。

原毛に混ざる不純物を取り除くために、自社のマシーン1回で十分な洗浄工程を、3回も実施したりと徹底的な品質管理にこだわっています。
他が分業して行うところ、深喜毛織は原毛調達、糸の紡績、織り工程、染色・加工工程、製品化
を一貫してできるからこそ品質に徹底的にこだわれる。

国内唯一と言われるこの一貫工程によって、”妥協のないものづくり”が世界から称賛される理由です。
近年は技術の発展と共に、大量生産でカシミヤを作る会社も多い中、深喜毛織は昔ながらの製法でじっくり時間をかけて作成している。最近は”タイパ”や”効率化”が重要視されるが、深喜毛織は「最終的な品質」「風合い」を大切にしている。
もう少し掘り下げてみます。
② 感動的な なめらかさの秘密はカシミヤヤギ2頭分の最上級原毛100％。「カシミヤ100% ウェーブマフラー」にあり！🐐🐐
通常、17マイクロン程度の繊維が太くて短いカシミヤは“チクチク”“ザラザラ”しており、毛羽立ちやすいが、深喜毛織の「カシミヤ100% ウェーブマフラー」では「15.8マイクロン」という繊維が非常に細く、長い希少なカシミヤ原毛を使用してます。
カシミヤヤギ約2頭分の原毛で1本のマフラーを作り上げています。また、紡績する糸の細さにもこだわりがあり、一般的なマフラーに使われるのが「16番手」に対し、わずかに太い「15番手」を使用してます。
③カシミヤ100% ウェーブマフラーの 波打つような“神秘のふわふわ起毛”の秘密
それは生地を起毛させる工程で「チーゼル＝あざみの実」を使用した「ウェーブ加工」を施しているから。
このトゲ自体は同じトゲがないからこそ独特な風合いに仕上がる。通常はワイヤー起毛機にかけて仕上げますが、この天然のトゲには及ばないようです。まさに”神秘のふわふわ起毛”です。
トゲの先にさらに細かなトゲがいくつもある「チーゼル」を乾燥させ、機械にセットし、ここにカシミヤ生地をくぐらせることで、波打つような独特の起毛を生み出し、カシミヤが持つ風合いを最大限引き出しています。
⑤効率性を無視したエイジング工程
先程の不純物を取り除く工程や、生地を織った後の「洗い工程」、そして熱と圧力で縮ませて下地を付ける「縮絨(しゅくじゅう)工程」など、すべての工程に一切妥協がないのももちろんですが、各工程で1日から半年寝かせてエイジングさせる徹底ぶり。
⑥およそ50年以上前に作られた低速織機「ションヘル織機」で織る
ものづくりの極めつけはドイツ製のションヘル織機でゆっくりとおられるということ。
一般的な織機に比べ、およそ3/1～5/1ほどの生産性しかありませんが、空気を含みながら織ることで厚みも生まれ極上の風合いに仕上がります。
※国内で稼働しているションヘル織機はごくわずか。生産もされていない為かなり貴重です。
⑦縫製は無しでも一切ほつれない秘密。そして国内唯一のフリンジ。
このカシミヤマフラーは編みではなく、経糸と緯糸による“織り”で作られているにもかかわらず、生地の端にはミシンのステッチがありません。
これは「縮絨工程」によって、生地をしっかりと縮ませて目が詰まっているから。このステッチが無いことで首に当たった際の風合いもソフトで柔らかになります。使う人のことを追求してます。
そして、目を引くのがこのエレガントなフリンジ。実はフリンジを撚る機械を持っているのは深喜毛織だけかもしれません。もちろん、フリンジにもステッチは入っていないです。

When it comes to cashmere, Fukaki Keori is a name admired both in Japan and abroad.
The story began some 130 years ago, with more than 90 years devoted to mastering cashmere.
Often referred to as “Cashmere means fukaki Keori”, the company stands as Japan’s foremost representative in this most prestigious of materials. But what makes Fukaki Keori so exceptional?
1. The only fully integrated factory in Japan
Fukaki Keori is committed to a philosophy of “quality above all”, where not only the finest aesthetics but also the preservation of natural softness and texture are paramount.
From sourcing the raw fibres in Mongolia to spinning, weaving, dyeing, finishing, and finally producing garments – every stage is carried out with uncompromising precision. Unlike others who rely on a divided production process, Fukaki Keori manages each step itself.
The weaving itself is entrusted to a dedicated partner workshop in Ichinomiya, Aichi, which exclusively handles Fukaki Keori fabrics.
This rare, fully integrated system – unique in Japan – allows Fukaki Keori to achieve uncompromising quality, earning global recognition for its dedication to craftsmanship.
At a time when technology encourages mass production and efficiency, Fukaki Keori continues to work slowly and meticulously, valuing time-honoured methods and above all the final quality and feel.
2. The secret of its extraordinary smoothness – two whole cashmere goats per scarf
The “Cashmere 100% Wave Scarf” is a true testament to refinement.
Ordinary cashmere fibres measure around 17 microns, which can feel coarse, prickly, and prone to pilling. By contrast, fukaki Keori uses only the rarest fibres at 15.8 microns – longer, finer, and far softer.
Each scarf requires the fleece of approximately two cashmere goats, ensuring unmatched richness.
Even in spinning, there is attention to detail: while most scarves are made with 16-count yarn, Fukaki Keori opts for a slightly thicker 15-count, enhancing both warmth and drape.
3. The mysterious “wave-like fluffiness” of the Cashmere 100% Wave Scarf
The distinctive, soft wave-like nap is created through a unique finishing process.
Instead of synthetic brushes, fukaki Keori employs teasel burrs (thistles) in a traditional “wave finish” to raise the fibres naturally, resulting in a feather-soft touch.
In addition, the fabric undergoes a fulling process, which shrinks and tightens the weave for a denser, warmer finish. With no stitched edging, the scarf feels especially gentle against the neck.
Finally, the elegant fringes are worth noting. fukaki Keori is perhaps the only company in Japan with its own specialised twisting machine to create them – again without stitching, preserving the soft, flowing aesthetic.
